What is Joon therapy like?
After signing up, you’ll receive an email introducing you to a dedicated therapist who specializes in helping young adults, along with a few dates and times for your first session based on your preferences.
During your therapy sessions, you’ll connect via video and work toward achieving your personal therapy goals. As part of your journey, you’ll also have access to practice skills in Joon’s mobile app.
🎉 Most Joon clients show significant improvement in 12 weeks!
Do I need to tell my parents?
In a perfect world, parents and their children would be able to talk openly about mental health concerns and solutions.
As this is not the case for many young people today, it’s up to you whether you want to include your parents in your Joon therapy journey in any way. If you do choose to involve them, what you say 1-1 to your therapist is still confidential.
Who is paying for my therapy?
The City of Seattle will cover your Joon therapy session costs through December 31, 2024.
